On 3/26/2012, Agents from the Glenn Interagency Narcotics Task Force (GLINTF), assisted by the Glenn County Sheriff’s Office major crimes unit, served a search warrant at 6457 County Road 24 in Orland, Ca.  As a result of the search warrant, agents seized 5.4 grams of methamphetamine packaged for sales, (15) Norco tablets, (4) Valium tablets and 12,348.8 grams of marijuana packaged for sales.
 
Total street value of drugs seized was $248,086.
 
Agents also located one counterfeit $20 bill.
 
After a month long investigation, agents arrested Jonathon Frank Krantz. Krantz was booked into the Glenn County Jail for 11378 H&S, 11377(a) H&S, 11350 H&S, 11359 H&S, 11364 H&S, and 479 PC.  His bail was set at $45,000.
 
 Also arrested was David Hunt.  Hunt was charged with 11364 H&S and 11377 H&S.  His bail was set at $13,000.

On 2/16/2012, GLINTF was conducting street level enforcement in the Orland area. Agents received information regarding a parolee at large wanted on a no-bail parole hold warrant that was issued on 1/31/2012. The parolee, Travis Thompson, age 26, is on parole for burglary. The information indicated he was at the residence of his parents on County Road 3 North of Orland. While attempting to contact the subject, agents also received information that he was in possession of a firearm inside the residence.

After a short period of time, agents were able to establish communication with the subject. A short time later, Thompson surrendered peacefully without incident. No evidence of a firearm was found. Agents located a methamphetamine smoking device as well as prescription medication that was not prescribed to him. Agents seized Norco tablets from Thompson. These prescription drugs are a commonly abused narcotic that are used and traded on the street. Thompson arrested for Violation of Parole, Possession of narcotic controlled substance and possession of controlled substance paraphernalia.

Also located inside the residence with Thompson was Tara England, age 24. She was found to be in violation of her probation and was also booked at the Glenn County Jail for revoked probation. Her bail was set at $33,000.

Agents later in the afternoon contacted Joshua Cedeno, age 18 at the Orlanda in during a probation compliance check on a separate individual. Cedeno was found to be in possession of illegal weapons, gravity knifes. He was arrested for possess/sell swith-blade knife. His bail was set at $2,000.

On 01-26-2012, GLINTF agents served two search warrants in the Willows area. GLINTF had received citizen complaints regarding on-going drug activity at two separate apartment complexes. Search warrants were obtained as a result of the investigation and served in the evening hours of 01-26-2012. The first location was at 600 N. Humboldt Street Apt #114. Upon arrival the focus of the warrant observed the officer’s approaching the complex. After a short foot pursuit he was taken into custody. He was identified as Negie Fallis, age 31. He attempted to discard a small baggie of methamphetamine and a small bag of marijuana. He was also found to have on his possession 18 Vicodin tablets that were not prescribed to him. A search of his residence was then conducted. The agents found four small children living in the residence that was in deplorable conditions. Agents found drug paraphernalia, methamphetamine smoking pipes, marijuana smoking pipes, multiple knives and razor blades that were in reach of the small children. A DEC (Drug Endangered Children) case was also initiated at that time. Due to the condition of the residence and the accessibility of the drug paraphernalia, Glenn County Child Protective Services was summoned. After their initial investigation the four juveniles ranging from seven months to nine years of age were taken into protective custody.

The second residence located at 1333 W. Sycamore Street, Apt. # 10 was also served with a search warrant relative to drug activity. Upon arrival the agents were unable to locate any of the suspects as the residence was unoccupied. A small amount of methamphetamine was also located at this residence.

Total amount of methamphetamine seized was 2.8 grams; total marijuana seized was 77.2 grams.

GLINTF was assisted by deputies from the Glenn County Sheriff’s Office, Glenn County Probation Department and the Willows Police Department as well as their newly acquired K-9.

Negie Fallis was booked into the Glenn County Jail on the following charges, Possession of a controlled substance (11377a HSC), possession of drug paraphernalia (11364 HSC), child endangerment (273a(a) PC), Possession of a narcotic controlled substance (11350 HSC), possession of more than an ounce of marijuana (11357(c) HSC) and possession of a switch –blade/gravity knife (21510(b) PC.

Bail was set at $75,000.00

On January 25, 2012 at approximately 1600 hours, GLINTF agents were conducting street level enforcement in Orland, CA. The agents observed Matthew Putnam driving a passenger car with Emanuel Mercado sitting in the right rear passenger seat. The agents had prior knowledge that Mercado had 2 outstanding misdemeanor warrants and 1 felony warrant for his arrest out of Glenn County. The Agents made contact with the occupants of the vehicle at 73 E. Chapman Street.



Emanuel Mercado, age 20, was arrested for his 3 warrants, bail set at $90,000.

Matthew Putnam, age 39, was found to be under the influence of a controlled substance and in possession of 296.5 grams net weight of marijuana. Putnam was arrested for violations 11550(a) H&S, 11359 H&S and 11360 H&S. His bail was set at $38,000.

Ashley Skeslien, age 21, was found to be under the influence of a controlled substance, in possession of 1.6 grams net weight of methamphetamine and in violation of her felony probation. Skeslien was taken into custody and booked for 11550(a) H&S, 11377(a) H&S, and 1203.2(a) PC. Skeslien’s bail was set at $43,000.

Cesar Rosales, age 27, was a passenger in the vehicle and found to be under the influence of a controlled substance. Rosales was taken into custody and booked for 11550(a) H&S. Rosales’s bail was set at $3,000.
